Greetings!!
The Southeast quadrant of the country has gotten all its water needs met in the last day or so, and then some. Our fair city seems to have escaped the worst of Hurricane Helene thus far, though the day isn’t over yet.
This graphic just about represents the state of my brain in the last couple of weeks.
As mentioned recently, my family received medical news that requires treatment, which started this week. You hear so many horror stories these days when folks have to go into the American medical system; it’s truly a blessing to have such a positive experience with doctors, nurses, and staff across the board. We journey on rejoicing, for in the end, all shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
In other news, I managed to record my first conversation for my upcoming podcast!! It went well—my guest is a true delight, we had a wonderful time, and I can’t wait to share the conversation with the world.
I’m still shooting for a launch date the week of January 13, 2025, but in the meantime, here’s a promo image for the pod. I’d love to know what you think!
That’s all from the wet hinterlands, folks.1
Let’s be hopeful, creative, and wise—together.
Shalom,
